We have a winner! Or actually – we have two winners.
Thank you so much for everyone who helped me to come up with a tag line for my Kids Protection Planning Kit.
I was humbled and honored to have so many responses, and so many great suggestions, and I would like to thank everyone for participating.
I chose two winners, Jessica Smith and Allison Ellis.
I chose the following tag line:
“Life Doesn’t Come with a Crystal Ball – Make a Plan” by Jessica Smith.
And I also liked the idea of having a rotating banner and as you can see above, I chose the rotating banner text according to Allison’s idea.
“What Would Happen to Your Kids”
“If Something Happened to You”
“Life Doesn’t Come With A Crystal Ball. Make a Plan.”
Congrats to both Jessica and Allison, you each will receive a Kids Protection Planning Kit, which has a retail value of $497!
For the rest of ya, keep an eye on your inbox, your twitter account, and everywhere else you go for info on November 6 because we’re having a very special launch of the Kids Protection Planning Kit on that day.
Thanks again everyone!

I don’t understand why people keep responding to your little contests and stuff. Don’t they see that you are just trying to get them to do stuff for free that you would otherwise have to pay creative firms thousands of dollars to do? Why are people willing to do that for you? I don’t get it.
Woo hoo!!!! Thanks! I’m honored to win and can’t wait to share my experience with the Kids Protection Planning Kit with my readers!
James, I couldn’t agree more…
James & John,
It’s called social media – duh!
congrats
James & John,
Part of social media is respecting your community, whether it’s your readers, your customers or your target market.
What shows better respect than asking your community’s opinion?
Especially when you are asking your community’s opinion on something you could have paid for. Paying to get things done is easy, everyone can do it. Finding a community that you can be part of and help each others out is priceless. Why do you think so many people responded? Because they know Alexis is helping them too, she is part of the community.
Think social media as a light in a candle. If you light up someone else’s candle with the light from yours- it doesn’t dim the light in your candle. When you share the fire, and light up as many candles as you can, we can together provide much more light.
Social media = synergy= 1+1=3
Good grief! Alexis spends thousands of dollars with creative firms to get all kinds of work done. She is a big believer in hiring the experts when needed, so I am pretty sure that she didn’t hold this contest to save money.
Alexis could have come up with these tag lines on her own but instead wanted to take advantage of social media opportunities as well as provide someone with a very valuable product for free–a Kids Protection Planning Kit!
Plus, the people who participated in this copyrighting effort were able to contribute something towards making sure that all parents in the United States have named legal guardians for their kids.
What a great thing!
WOWOWO!! I love the tag line! I also love the banners! Please let me know when I can have one!
This would be great product for the members of BabySpot.com & our newly launch BabySpotLation.com……..we also need the kit in spanish..lol
