Freedom

At the end of the day, what is freedom really?

I think …

It’s knowing I can take care of myself, no matter what.

I am self-reliant, self-sufficient and self-aware.

From this place, I can love fully without attachment. I can do what I want and not do what I don’t want.
Take risks, lose sometime and wake up the next day willing to do it again.

To me, that’s freedom.

What about you?

Share your definition of freedom in the comments and come chat with me about it if you are going to be at Lightning in a Bottle this weekend.  I’ll be at the Lumi Cafe on Sunday at 1p.  You come, we’ll get free together.

Once I finally realized that all I have to do is be willing to clean it up if I make a mess…this is when I started to feel truly FREEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To me freedom is to be my true self and live by soul. The ability to fly, spread my wings, and life life with purpose — even though it goes against what society defines as “normal” and “successful”. It actually makes life even more fun to be different and shine my uniqueness. I love to be passionately alive. To me this is freedom, and fortunately I am free. I’m a monk…and left “the world”, to just BE. Its in BEING, where true Freedom lies. 🙂
